The PE-XC 3/5-layer pipe consists of an inner layer of electrostatically cross-linked high-density polyethylene PEX-C (electron bombardment, a process that guarantees homogeneous and permanently stable cross-linking without the risk of discontinuity, guaranteeing maintenance over time), a layer of binder, an intermediate layer of ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) to act as an oxygen barrier, another layer of binder and finally a layer of cross-linked PEX-C type polyethylene to mechanically protect the EVOH barrier. the product complies with EN 15875; DIN16892.
